I do like this, but I am not quite in agreement with his approach that God is now silent. I believe God does still speak to His people, hence My sheep will hear my voice, but I do agree that it will never misuse or go against the written Word. He says we can't verify it, but using that logic, we can not verify Paul's telling of what happened on the road to Damascus.

If you go to Israel DO NOT PRONOUNCE like Dr. Barrick is teaching. The pronunciation of A-ley-KHEM is not "kem", it is "chem" like the German pronunciation of ch (o una jota en Español), exactly the way he pronounced it in Ma-Shlom-KHA. Same thing with the pronunciation of Ma-shlo-MEKH it is not "mek", it is "mech".

I'm pretty convinced that only God can open the eyes of our understanding individually when we show him we are seeking truth, reconciliation, and relationship with him. My grandma went to church religiously and gave 10 percent and made my papaw do the same under compulsion. And if ever the Bible was mentioned she would suggest the way to be right with God was to follow the 10 commandments. Now how can a lady go to a Baptist church that many years and still not know anything? She didn't want to hear anything about the Bible after I got saved and wanted to talk about hings I've read and learned. It would make her visible shutter and fidgety then I would quickly be inturpted to state the obvious about the surroundings or change the subject to something irrelevant. Well she's dead now but I hope she wasn't trusting in her keeping of the commandments to get into heaven because Jesus Christ is the only one of us to ever accomplish that.

It seems to me that the dynamics of Genesis 15:5-6 should be interpreted as the identical dynamics in Hebrews 11:11, in reference to Sarah. God made a promise to Sarah, she believed God and imputed righteousness unto God. Similarly, God makes a promise to Abraham in Genesis 15, and Abraham believes God and imputes righteousness unto God. "And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness." By making it transactional, Paul turned the whole thing on it's head (Romans 4). It puzzles me why we accept that. Nowhere else in the Bible (outside of Paul) is there the idea that righteousness is simply given to someone based on faith.

Please note, the first disciples only assume Paul teaches and preaches the same gospel, but they never relearn from Paul. Today Christisns learn and adopt both gospels. So Dr Lawson incorrectly claimed that Jesus brought two gospels, gospel Kingdom of God and gospel Grace of God. As predicted in Christendom there are two gospels running side by side, where the tare gospel has been growing as big as Jesus owned gospel. Why the tare could grows ? because Jesus allow it, this is the same reason, there won't be any interference from Heavenly beings to prevent Christians being deceived. Those theologians, bible teachers and preachers are preaching mixed up gospels, as Jesus said, "unless you stick to My words, you could not bear good fruits." The good fruit of Jesus teaching is to Do the will of God. This is the climax of spiritual growth, spiritual relationship, when Father directs the person to do His will. Failing to bear fruits, will be chopped and thrown to fire, Those who became the disciple of Grace of God, will be discouraged to Do things for salvation, making themselves the barren tree. This is how those professors, pastors, preachers of the false gospel put themselves into, don't know what kind of punishment await to those who deceive His lamb, and work against the Kingdom of God, by advancing the enemies gospel. To understand the gospel of the Kingdom of God is not hard, don't need to go to bible college, they lead you to limbo, you need to meditate yourself with guidance from the Holy Spirit, lay down all man's made useless theologies first, lay the first foundation of your believe in Jesus own words delivered in flesh, stick into it untill you understood all of them, learn to ask and hear Holy Spirit, then you can learn and validate the gospel of Grace of God.

First of all, if the book rediscovering expository preaching was gold, sharing this course is platinum! Now, when emphasizing not forcing alliteration you provide a humbling illustration from Pastor MacArthur where he appears to force the outline point “soil disturbance” for the earthquake. I remember hearing Phil Johnson discussing this with Pastor MacArthur. Phil jokingly suggested it should have been, “seismic disturbance “. Now, we see the blessing of having Phil as John’s editor. bible writers were not scholars, neither theologians nor educated persons, they wrote just like any ordinary persons, Jesus taught to ordinary persons too, therefore to understand their writings Christians should keep it simple, pay attention to what the writers would like to say, sentences, and stick to the topic they are discussing, have holistic view of all their conversations. focusing on wording is a bad approach in bible study. for example, theologians approach to understand God's love is by studying the Greek's language of love. the reason is simple new testament was written in Greek. But those writers were not Greek, they lives in Hebrew culture, spoke in Aramaic and Hebrew, they borrow Greek's words just to be readable by gentiles, unfortunately the translation doesn't fit one to one, many Hebrews words have no pairs in Greek, so the authors simply use whatever available words. Theologians do not aware, they are adopting Pagan's believe, Greek's love (Agape, Eros, philias) are Greek's people understanding of love, they are Pagan worshiper, they don't know God and don't know His love. These categories are made by Greek's philospher. if you wonder what categories of love according to God's of the Hebrew ?, there are only two, love of yourself and Love with all your heart, mind and soul. The difference is Love of yourself will always try to keep heart, mind and soul for their own sake, the later one, willing to loose it for the sake of others. This understanding aligns with Jesus own words "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." if you wonder how Theologians turned God's words into useless men's made teaching ? this is one of them. To understand Jesus words, scriptures is through Spirit not Thinking. you need Holy Spirit, practice Spiritual hearing by asking and hearing His guidance, then you will find out that all theologians knows nothing, deceiving many. Those theologians rely on their minds, spiritually dead persons, these are the modern Pharisees that you should be careful of, the walking grave that prevent people finding the truth and eternal life.
